We were really surprised how good the food was and how nice the service. Had the octopus as an appetizer, the catch of the day, which was sword fish, and a chocolate mousse. Absolutely delicious!

We loved Lidi before, and we love it now with the new chef and menu. Despite a full dining room, our server Dom didn’t miss a beat. The food was timely, high quality, and delicious. This is one of our favorite little spots to go when we need a night out, and we have never been disappointed.

We had the most amazing experience! We went to coda recently and this restaurant and chef and service with Quentin blew us away! It is sooo much better than any Italian restaurant in town. They just hired a new chef and I cannot say enough! Quentin was beyond helpful and attentive! This place is wonderful and the tirimasu is real! Enough said .. cheers

Lidi was recommended during our visit to Charleston by a family friend. The atmosphere was inviting, kid friendly, service was top notch and food was first class. Special shout out to Travis and Morgan for their service and hospitality. Will definitely return and highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I came to Charleston to visit my son for Easter weekend, and he said we have to try this newly rebranded Italian restaurant near his house that everyone is raving about. I couldn’t have had a better experience. My first impressions were the white tablecloth, lit candles on the tables, and the smell of Italian food. Being a retired florist, I enjoyed the fresh tulips on the table for a nice Spring touch. We split a few appetizers, but my favorite dish was the braised pork shank. I have already requested that we make reservations next time I visit town.

I've been going to LIDI for years and have always enjoyed it, but now I'm more impressed than ever. I can't rave enough about the new renovations to the space and to the food/wine menu. All the dishes I've tried so far have been amazing (especially the BOLO pasta) and I can't wait to try everything the new chef has to offer!

I went to Ristorante LIDI for the first time and had a great experience! The Meatballs were tender and full of flavor. For any mushroom lover, the Porcini Ravioli is a must. The Veal Chop Milanese was a generous portion with well-balanced flavors. The wine list was well priced and not overloaded with Italian wines, and the extensive bourbon selection made for an excellent nightcap. Everything was delicious, and I will return next time I am in Daniel Island.

Since its recent renovations, Lidi has quickly become one of the top dining destinations in Charleston. The new decor, design changes, and artwork are truly stunning, creating a refined and elegant atmosphere. The dining experience has evolved into a superb example of fine dining. The quality of the food has significantly improved, and each dish brings something exciting and innovative to the table. The menu now emphasizes traditional Italian cuisine, moving away from its previous Italian-American focus. I highly recommend visiting the newly transformed Lidi!
